AdSP, Lotto resigns from the Management Committee

CIVITAVECCHIA – «I have submitted my resignation from the AdSP Management Committee».

This was said by the member designated by the Metropolitan City of Rome for the Committee, Pino Lotto, who intervened the day after the approval of the report of the AdSP of the central-northern Tyrrhenian Sea, announcing his resignation and his entry into the ranks of the candidate for mayor of M5S and Up D’Antò.

«It is with a mixture of emotion and determination – says Lotto – that today, 30 April 2024, I announce my decision to resign from my position as a member of the Management Committee of the Port System Authority (ADSP). This choice, which I considered with a great sense of responsibility, is dictated by my desire to stand as a candidate in the upcoming local elections to support Enzo D’Antò’s candidacy with all my commitment. For me, politics is first and foremost a mission of service to the community, and I firmly believe in the abilities and honesty of Enzo D’Antò in leading our city towards a better future. His program and his commitment to the common good have won my full support, and I feel honored to be able to actively contribute to his plan for our city. However, before embarking on this new chapter in my political life, I wanted to ensure that some crucial issues were addressed with the utmost seriousness and responsibility. Therefore, I have decided to wait to submit my resignation to ensure the stability and well-being of both the workers and the institution.”

Lotto explains that he has, with the support of the mayoral candidate, «worked tirelessly to ensure the approval of the second level contract, thus securing the rights and interests of port workers. Subsequently, I dedicated all my energies to approving the body’s final balance sheet, so that the AdSP can continue to operate effectively and efficiently even after my departure. I would like to express my deepest gratitude to President Musolino for the trust he has placed in me and for his constant support during my mandate. Furthermore, I would like to thank my esteemed colleagues on the Management Committee for the cooperation and support they have offered me at all times. Even as I leave my current role, I do so with the knowledge that I will continue to serve my community with the same passion and dedication that has guided me thus far. I am confident that, with Enzo D’Antò as mayor, we will be able to achieve great things for our beloved city. Thank you – he concludes – to all those who have accompanied me on this journey and who will continue to support me in my future commitments.”
