Rome, 30 April 2024 – To celebrate the “World Day for Health and Safety at Work”, the Health Department of the Sicilian Region organized a conference aimed at raising public awareness of the need to adopt all the necessary prevention measures to protect workers.
The event, which is taking place today 30 April at the Cantieri Culturali alla Zisa in Palermo, is entitled “Prevention is the solution” and aims to promote culture, health and safety at work, with the direct involvement of production activities , citizenship and, above all, school.
Schools of all levels, in fact, are places where the right to health and safety can find fertile ground in which to take root, from the first moments of socialization, to become the heritage of the individual and the community.
Among the participants, ANMIL managers and testimonials from Sicily and Palermo, representatives of the institutions and companies of the regional health service, law enforcement and justice forces, universities and schools, as well as trade union organizations and associations category throughout Sicily.
