The Provincial coordination of Reggio Calabria by Brothers of Italyconvened and chaired by the Coordinator Bruno Squillacimet at Melito Porto Salvo for the approval of the final account of the economic and financial autonomy of the provincial Federation of Brothers of Italy of Reggio Calabria, closed on 31 December 2023 and drawn up by the Administrative Secretary Katia Latella.
“Together with the members of the new provincial coordination we wanted to experiment with this itinerant formula, which today took us to Melito Porto Salvo, after the meetings already held in Gioia Tauro and Locri. A sign of attention and closeness to the entire provincial territory, which we strongly wanted and which is registering appreciation and approval” declared the provincial President at the opening of the proceedings Bruno Squillaciwho then thanked the Councilors who were part of the delegation that represented the Province of Reggio Calabria at the programmatic assembly “Italy changes Europe”, which took place in recent days in Pescara.
“An event rich in content – continued Squillaci – during which issues of fundamental importance for Europe were addressed: from the common foreign policy to the protection of identities and values, from the need to invest in businesses and training to create new jobs to support for farmers, up to environmental challenges and those on immigration and integration. An extraordinary moment of confrontation which once again saw the ruling class and the people of the Brothers of Italy as absolute protagonists“.
President Squillaci then expressed great satisfaction with the candidacy of Giorgia Meloni to the next European elections: “We are ready to support it with great passion, together with the outgoing MEP of our territory Denis Nesci, to give strength and authority to Fratelli d’Italia also in Europe, to govern and defend our excellence, our businesses and our identity and to create the best conditions for development and growth for the entire metropolitan area of Reggio Calabria“.
Before the detailed final report of the Administrative Secretary Katia Latellaalso confirmed in the role by the new provincial coordination after the excellent work carried out in previous years, and the unanimous approval of the 2023 report, the upcoming administrative and European elections were discussed and topics of particular interest for the territory, from healthcare to infrastructure, on which various members of the Coordination intervened, providing a constructive contribution in terms of ideas and proposals, which will be the subject of specific initiatives organized in the coming months throughout the provincial territory.
Finally, President Squillaci thanked the outgoing Coordination and the Commissioner Denis Nesci for the activities carried out in the year 2023 and for the prudent management of the available resources and anticipated the presentation of an ambitious project for the establishment of a political training school for young people in the area, which will soon be presented to the Provincial Coordination and shared with all the clubs in the Territory, in order to improve it and make it fully operational in the shortest possible time.
