Fruit and vegetable shop closed in Savona
As part of the intensification of prevention and control activities on public and commercial establishments to protect public safety, yesterday a provision was issued and immediately executed by the Savona Police Commissioner to suspend a commercial activity relating to the sale of fruit and vegetables. for 10 days, pursuant to art. 100 of the Consolidated Law on Public Safety.
The provision was issued following the arrest by personnel of the Savona Financial Police of the owner and his partner of the business, caught in the act of committing the crime of illicit possession of narcotic substances intended for trafficking.
There were also numerous complaints from residents of the city center who reported urban safety problems due to an anomalous coming and going of people who entered the shop in question and left without having bought fruit or vegetables, creating a situation of social alarm.
The commitment of the police forces continues which, as in this case, intervenes in close synergy in the common objective of protecting the safety of citizens and of all those merchants – the majority – who operate in compliance with the rules of the sector.
