An abrupt one weather change coming (also) to Naples and Campania: although the almost summer heat has reigned supreme in recent days, starting from May 1st, Labor Day, a sudden change for the worse in the weather is expected, with intense rain , hail, and a sudden drop in temperatures, which will drop by up to seven to eight degrees compared to the last few days. The bad weather, which will arrive from the west to the north-western areas of Italy in the next few hours, will also have overtaken Sardinia by this evening and will arrive from the Tyrrhenian Sea across the whole of Campania tomorrow. No weather warnings have yet been issued by the Civil Protection: but the feeling is that it could happen in the next few hours.

Thunderstorms and hailstorms are expected in Naples and along the coasts by lunchtime May 1st: temperatures, which today are close to 28 degrees, will drop to 20 degrees in the hottest hours. The peak of the instability will be around 2pm, when heavy rains are expected in the capital of Campania and along all the coasts from the Domiciles to the Cilento ones. Then as time passes, the rain will also extend to inland areas. Temperatures dropping sharply almost everywhere and the weather unstable at least until May 3rd: then, starting from Saturday, a partial improvement will return, with the clouds giving way to the sun, although temperatures will struggle to immediately return to the maximum values ​​recorded in these days. The winds will also increase, and will go from weak to moderate, especially during the stormy phenomena expected for tomorrow.
