THE MATCH

The derby is always a match in itself and even in a championship experienced in a lesser tone, Juventus finds the strength to trip up their cousins, eliminating the gap in the standings on the field and slowing down their race towards the championship playoffs.
The Torelli’s start is proactive, but without Vinarcik being called upon to intervene and so at the first real opportunity the hosts take the lead. Following the development of a corner, Gil was ready for Crapisto’s cross and headed the Vecchia Signora forward. The inertia therefore shifts entirely to the Bianconeri’s side, but as with the goal, in this case too, the opportunity for Torino to equalize comes out of nowhere, at a moment in which the opponents definitely have control of the pitch . It’s Ciammaglichella who misses the opportunity from a good position, following an action favored by a Dellavalle shot deflected by the defence. It’s a flash in the pan because Montero’s boys immediately regain control of the game until the final whistle, but without there being any further major dangers.

Ready to go Scurto immediately opts for two substitutions and the guests return to the pitch more decisive, in line with the start of the first set. The match is more vibrant and in the first 25 minutes the conclusions arrive from Silva and Savva on one side and Florea and Scienza on the other, but for Toro the ball ends up at the bottom twice, while on the other side it is Abati who does not make his way to surprise. Nothing transcendental, but the heat increases and a save from Martinez on Njie is needed to save the result. Having escaped the danger, Juve squared off and after five minutes found the second goal on the Mancini-Scienza axis, with the attacking midfielder capitalizing as best he could on his teammate’s nice back-heel assist. It basically ends here, there’s just enough time for Mancini’s shot to go just wide and Dellavalle gets a yellow card in injury time, heavy because he’s been warned. At the final whistle there was a bit of nervousness, with the referee waving the red card towards Savva and Boufandar.
