It’s not a dream, it’s science. Michelangelo Marinoco-founder of “IOchangeroute” with Flavia Cuzzolaand its TEAM (who deserves a special mention for everything he is doing to spread the project) are at the forefront of revolutionizing the educational system with the introduction of science of happiness in schools and universities in Calabria and beyond.
“Happiness is a right” – this is the mantra that guides Marino, a CHO (Chief Happiness Officer) who with the principles of neuroscience, psychology, economics and philosophy, biology, quantum physics among other disciplines, is dedicated to teaching and transmitting the principles of Positive thought and the Science of Happiness in young minds and school staff.
The team of “IOchangeroute“, after an initial period dedicated to private individuals, has “taken by assault” the academic environment with its Happiness Symposiuman event that is rooted in the scientific research and discoveries of the most prestigious universities, such as Harvard and which goes very well with the ORIENTING TEACHING increasingly a key topic in the world of SCHOOL.

Starting from Calabriathe symposium has already touched upon prestigious institutes (and thanks go to the School Directors who allowed all this to happen) such as – in chronological order – the Tommaso Campanella classical high school in Reggio CalabriaThe G. Mazzini high school of human sciences and linguistics in LocriThe Severe Of Gioia Tauro (marketing address), the Bruno Vinci classical high school in NicoteraL’IIS Our Repaci of Villa San Giovanni and theIC Cassiodoro-Don Bosco of Pellaro in which the protagonists were the teachers.
The project has also arrived in Campania, al Brunelleschi high school in Afragola and is ready to land in other regions of the peninsula.
The team of IOchangeroutewith its commitment, is marking a real cultural expansion.

…and in universities
There turning point surprising, after the success in school, Michelangelo Marino took to the road on an unusual vehicle: a bee, symbol of a journey of knowledge and inner growth. In fact, during 2023 theUniversity of Mediterranean Studies of RC has launched an Orientation Plan aimed at accompanying students in the final years of secondary schools in the school-university transition. The University considered it essential to invest in targeted activities to be carried out directly on the premises of the Institutes, in order to create “Territorial open days” and 5000 students and around 50 schools were met.
The territorial open days were organized by the staff from the Orientation and Job Placement sector of the University with the support and collaboration of the company. cop CISME and saw the coordinator among the protagonists Mario Carbone and the sociologist and guidance counselor Maria Rita Mallamaci. Michelangelo’s role (thanks to his skills in the field of motivation and the science of happiness) was to guide the kids towards a reflection that is necessary to make before making a DECISION, in fact the objective was to stimulate and support young students to make SUSTAINABLE choices.
IOcambiorotta and the meetings with the ANP
The 2024 opens under the best auspices for “IOchangeroute“. The school, in fact, demonstrates that it is increasingly open to transversal skills and the construction of the self. So that Michelangelo Marino was invited as speaker of an ANP event (National Association of Principals), with principals and teachers from all over Italy, at the behest of the vice president of the same association Mafalda Pollidori, bringing to attention the importance of teaching that promotes not only knowledge but also the emotional well-being and happiness of students and staff academic (especially teachers): ORIENTING TEACHING.
It is a silent revolution, the one in which the CHO and its team are protagonists, but the results speak clearly: the science of happiness not only improves the educational experience of students, but provides them with the tools to face life with a new awareness .
A mission that, starting from the tip of our peninsula, expands to train happier and more aware citizens of the world.
THE upcoming events from the Happiness School will once again cross the borders of Calabria, to stop in nearby Sicily, with a double appointment: first in Messina and then to Catania with ANP.
All this was possible thanks to a professional, close-knit and willing team, that of IOcambiorotta which, in recent years, has demonstrated its value.
