The increase in production value recorded by revenues from land sales and services was equal to approximately 1 million and 600 thousand euros in 2022. And it is a prevalent component compared to the absolute figure: the institution underlines this as evidence of the growth of the industrial area. These are some of the numbers that emerged during the General Council of the Asi Caserta Consortium yesterday morning which ended with the unanimous approval of the 2023 budget. Raffaela Pignetti was satisfied, now in her tenth year as president. «It is a budget that closes in the black again and with extensive planning both from a financial and infrastructural point of view. I am proud of the results achieved for this territory thanks to a valid team that shared a virtuous path with me, not with few sacrifices. So that no one forgets the reality, I want to remember that my inauguration took place during the Medea investigation and a group of men and women from this area wanted to create discontinuity with that system. The Protocol signed with the ANAC, chaired at the time by Doctor Raffaele Cantone, was fundamental in this process, creating a clear watershed with practices that had only damaged the growth and reputation of our province. I sincerely hope that this path traced, together with the many initiatives undertaken for industrial development, legality and environmental protection, can remain the key principles for the coming years”.

Pignetti thus also refers to strategic interventions for the redevelopment of infrastructures and the modernization of services. Over the last two years, work worth over 11 million euros has been carried out or is nearing completion, involving video surveillance in four industrial agglomerations, the construction of a new road axis and the reclamation of the so-called “battery road” in the San Marco area. Evangelista-Marcianise, and the safety of Via della Stazione in Gricignano.

But 2023 was also the year in which Asi Caserta completed the second executive phase of the “I redeem myself for the future” project in implementation of the Memorandum of Understanding signed in Caserta in December 2019. There were 99 the inmates of the penitentiary institutions of Santa Maria Capua Vetere, Carinola and Aversa who participated in the two training cycles which concluded with the start of work activities for the maintenance of greenery and roadways in the areas of Aversa, Marcianise, Caserta- Ponteselice and Volturno North. And last week the new protocol was signed which will see the project continue for another three years with a greater link between training and the needs of companies. Among the new features of Asi Caserta there is also the preparation of tenders to carry out interventions for a total of approximately 7 million euros. So, above all with consortium funds, using the management and maintenance quotas, a section of the water network and public lighting system will be built in via Edison in Caserta; the extraordinary maintenance works on the roadway and the water management works in via Pacinotti in San Nicola La Strada will be completed; the water network and sections of sewerage pipeline in the Aversa Nord agglomeration will be built with regional funding.
