Athletics, great debut in Siena.

SIENA – Outdoor seasonal debut also for the older athletes of the Barga marchers’ group, engaged last Thursday in the traditional liberation meeting in the city of the Palio. Riccardo Pintus demolished his personal best by 5 seconds in the 800 promised category, coming very close to the two-minute mark while Clarice Gigli recorded the second time ever in the favorite 800, making it clear that she is ready for other levels. Both finished in the top five in heavily trafficked races.
Matilde Balducci then showed good growth skills upon her return to competition after some time in the long jump, suggesting that she could soon improve her levels.
Lastly, a new entry for the group with Florian Theves, who makes his debut in athletics for the first time, in a difficult race like the 200 metres, gaining good experience which will come in handy in the future. Now focus on the important regional phase of the club championship which will take place in Lucca soon.
