There Local police of Verona has been engaged in three different areas of the city for episodes that saw the involvement of wild animals, increasingly present in the cityalso due to the strong temperature excursion that occurred in the last two weeks which may have disoriented them.
The first episode involved a roe deer found at 3 in the morning wound to a paw in via Valpantenaafter being hit by a vehicle that drove away. Given the conditions and the impossibility of a rapid intervention by a veterinarian, the agents of the Motorized Department accompanied the animal to the Headquarters where it was cared for untilintervention of the Provincial Police for subsequent treatments.

In via Lazzaretto (San Pancrazio area) around 9 instead a deer was involved in a collision with a car. In this case it always intervened Provincial Police for follow-ups and rescues. Finally in Via Querciain Valsquaranto, the Local Police gave assistance to the Fire Brigade for the recovery of a deer that fell into a fordperhaps because he was involved in a collision with a vehicle and found deceased.
