The hope is not to see another Teramo in Eccellenza in the future. The next season in Serie D will be a sort of Serie C2, given the reputation of the teams present: I will soon speak with the club, the desire is to remain but we need to think about many aspects because the strength of the rivals will increase exponentially, it will be a truly spectacular. Teramo is fortunate to have a president who is already working for the future, the personal hope is to continue this project undertaken two seasons ago, the fortune is to be able to plan well in advance. After the Cupello match he also spoke Stefano D’Egidio, who ended the season as Eccellenza’s top scorer with 26 goals. «After last Sunday’s ten goals», he says, «we had reopened the hope of breaking the record for goals in Eccellenza, as well as the record for victories: we succeeded brilliantly and we are very happy to have written a piece of Teramo history. We had a great ride, we are really happy and enjoying the moment.”
A year and a half ago D’Egidio was in retreat in Serie C with Taranto, then he found himself in Promotion. «Being rejected by Taranto», he says in this regard, «and being left without a team I don’t wish it on anyone. But I made a life choice, I knew what I was facing, I was aware, and I got it into my head that I wanted to be a protagonist in my city. Now we’re doing things right and I’m happy to be a protagonist here. The D series? We have seen the teams we will face, it will be a great championship.
