“Third Mission Days”: the University of Salerno opens its doors to the territory

The University of Salerno promotes the “Third Mission Days”, an initiative aimed at enhancing knowledge and technology transfer outside the academic context. The project, which is divided into a cycle of meetings between April and July 2024, sees the 17 departments of the University as protagonists.

Objective: create a bridge between the university and the territory, encouraging dialogue and mutual contamination. Through these meetings, the departments will have the opportunity to present their research activities, the results achieved and the concrete impacts on society and the world of work.

The initiative

On April 30, the “ER Caianiello” Physics Department organize the event “Physics and Emerging Technologies for Society and the Environment”. In the Hall “N. Cilento”, starting from 9.30 am, the ongoing projects and research involving the University’s physicists in synergy with local bodies, companies and institutions will be presented.
