The calendar for the 36th matchday of Serie A has been made official, the Viola will play at home against Monza on Monday 13 May at 8.45pm. Roma’s request to play on Monday was not accepted, so the Giallorossi will be busy on Thursday 9 May in Germany against Bayer Leverkusen for the semi-final second leg of the Europa League and on Sunday 12 May in Bergamo for Atalanta-Roma (Serie A) ; this is because the Bergamo players will face Juventus on Wednesday 15 May in the Italian Cup final. Fiorentina, on the other hand, was helped with their Conference League commitments, given that the Viola will play the return semi-final against Club Brugge on Wednesday 8 May in Belgium and will be involved in the championship 5 days later in Florence against Palladino’s Monza. The first leg match at the U-Power Stadium in Monza ended 1-0 for the Viola with Beltran’s goal in the seventh minute of the game.
