AGI – Clear victory for Genoa, who celebrate their already acquired arithmetic salvation with a 3-0 at the expense of Cagliari who still remain three points away from the relegation zone. The goals scored by Thorsby and Frendrup in the first half were decisive for the Ligurians, with Gudmundsson’s goal sealing the result half an hour into the second half. The first chance of the match came in the 13th minute, with the corner in favor of Genoa taken well by Martin and concluded with De Winter’s header which ended just wide.
However, Gilardino’s team found the 1-0 lead four minutes later, with Sabelli’s cross from the right Thorsby’s gore cuts well and hits Scuffet.
