Below is the complete list of previous games played in Reggio di Reggiana-Modenathe derby which returns on Wednesday at 6pm at the Mapei stadium.

1920-21: Emilian Group Group A: Reggiana-Modena 0-5 (Forlivesi 3, Pedrazzi, Breviglieri) – 24 October 1920, debut match in the championship.

1924-25: Northern League I Div: Reggiana-Modena 1-4 (Tichkovski, Breviglieri, Aut Vannini, Winkler (MO), Romano (RE), Modena second behind Genoa, Reggiana eighth.

1927-28: CONI Cup Group B: Reggiana-Modena 2-0 (Casanova-Bresciani)

1940-41: Serie B: Reggiana-Modena 3-3 (Malagoli rig, Bianchi (Re), Notti I, Montanari (MO), Bernardi 80′ (RE), Spadoni 84′ (MO) ).

1944: Upper Italy Championship: Reggiana-Modena 0-1 (Zironi I)

1949-50: Serie B: Reggiana-Modena 0-0 (before the match Reggiana offered Modena a bouquet of carnations).

1950-51: Serie B: Reggiana-Modena 1-2 (10′ Scagliarini (RE), 12′ Toth (MO) pen, 71′ Brighenti I (MO) ). It was played on 15 October 1950. Modena ended up 3rd behind Spal and Legnano, Reggiana thirteenth.

1951-52: Serie B: Reggiana-Modena 5-2 (Gaggiotti brace for Modena).

1958-59: Serie B: Reggiana-Zenit Modena 1-0 (Costa in the 5th minute).

1959-60: Serie B: Reggiana-Modena 2-2 (Catalani and Castagner rig (Re); Tomeazzi and Lugli (Mo)). Modena was eventually relegated to Serie C for the first time in its history, Reggiana fifth, a match postponed due to bad weather on 13 December 1959 and recovered on New Year’s Eve, 31 December 1959.

1966-67: Serie B: Reggiana-Modena 1-1, (Rognoni (MO), Crippa (RE) pen)

1967-68: Serie B: Reggiana-Modena 2-0, (Fanello 1′ and Crippa 42′). At the end of the match, Modena presented a written reservation to the referee regarding the use by the Reggiana players of shoes with metal crowbar studs.

1968-69: Serie B: Reggiana-Modena 1-0, (own goal by Borsari, deflection on a shot by Vignando), Modena finally saved on the last day, Reggiana fourth.

1971-72: Italian Cup: Reggiana-Modena 2-1 (played at the Danilo Martelli in Mantua) (Spagnolo and Zandoli (RE), own goal by Giorgi (Mo). Both eliminated.

1971-72: Serie B: Reggiana-Modena 3-0 (Spagnolo, Rzzati, Zandoli), bitter debut on the Modena bench of coach Nardino Costagliola, who had replaced Remondini after the home draw with Arezzo.

1975-76: Serie B: Reggiana-Modena 0-0 (as in the first leg at Braglia), a young Sauro Frutti on the pitch in Reggiana. Reggiana was eventually relegated to Serie C, Modena achieved an excellent seventh place.

1978-79: Italian Cup Serie C: Reggiana-Modena 4-1 (Bagatti, Sena, Neri 2 (RE), Bologna (MO), Modena last in the group which also included Carpi.

1978-79: Serie C1: Reggiana-Modena 1-1 (Podestà replied to Sperotto of RE). Modena debut for goalkeeper Davoli after a serious injury to Avagliano who suffered a concussion in a clash with Sperotto shortly before half-time and was taken to the Modena Polyclinic. Modena, second consecutive relegation, the first in the fourth national series (then C2).

1980-81: Italian Cup Serie C: Reggiana-Modena 0-0, Modena last in the group

1980-81: Serie C1: Reggiana-Modena 1-0 (Erba on rig) and some scuffles between fans in the stands. At the end of the championship, promotion to Serie B for Reggiana and salvation for Bruno Pace’s Modena.

1991-92: Serie B: Reggiana-Modena 3-1 (Provitali gives Modena the lead in the 18th minute, then Ravanelli, Bertoni and Scienza score for Reggiana). Sergio Buso sits on the Modena bench, replacing the suspended Bersellini. During the first half there were clashes between the granata ultras and the police.

1992-93: Serie B: Reggiana-Modena 1-0 (Corrado), firecrackers and objects on the pitch by the yellow-blue ultras, with the match suspended in three moments. Reggiana eventually promoted to Serie A for the first time, while Modena calmly survived. (Last derby played in the old Mirabello).

1999-2000: Serie C1: Reggiana-Modena 3-0 (Trocini, Beretta, Citterio), first match at the Giglio stadium, current Mapei Stadium. Both teams safe in the end.

2000-2001: Italian Cup series C: Reggiana-Modena 1-2 (Veronese, Fabbrini and Pirri rig for Reggiana), the Lombard era begins, with a historic victory in Reggio even if in the Italian Cup.

2000-2001: Serie C1: Reggiana-Modena 0-0 (Reggiana with 10 men from 56′ due to the expulsion of Cherubini, defender). Modena ends up in Serie B and Reggiana only survives the play outs.

2021-2022: Serie C: Reggiana-Modena 0-0, Canaries down to ten from 74′ due to Gerli’s expulsion. Modena first and promoted to Serie B, Reggiana second and defeated in the play offs.
