NewTuscia – TERNI – This morning the agents of the Administrative and Social Police Division of the Terni Police Headquarters implemented the provision issued by the Police Commissioner, Bruno Failla, regarding a public business in Viale dello Stadio: Art. 110 pursuant to the TULP (Consolidated Law on Public Security), with the suspension of the license for 30 days.
It is not the first time that the place has been subjected to this type of measure, as previously – in 2020, 2021 and 2023 – the commercial activity of serving food and drinks had been suspended due to violation of the law on drugs and for the presence of people with police records and drunks who had given rise to episodes of violence.
This morning’s closure is due to the arrest of the owner on 24 April last for possession for the purposes of dealing, a crime committed inside the premises itself, where the Terni Flying Squad had found wrappers of cocaine, hidden among the food, making the commercial activity a “safe” place for dealing.
The Police Commissioner’s provision has both precautionary purposes – with prevention objectives – as well as dissuasive on dangerous subjects, thus deprived of a usual place of aggregation, but is also aimed at protecting the safety of citizens and residents of the area.
