Significant result obtained by the Under 19 team of Avimecc Volley Modica who graduated as regional vice champion in the category in Santa Teresa Riva, acquiring the right to represent Sicily at the national phase which will be held in San Giustino from 14 to 19 May.
The young blue and whites will play for qualification by challenging in their group the Lucanians of Polisportiva Venosa, the Umbrians of Sir Safety Perugia (the team that won the Scudetto in the Super League a few hours ago) and the Lombards of Vero Volley Monza.
“I am very happy with the result obtained by our young promises – declares president Ezio Aprile – because it is the result of work done with the boys of our nursery, with the collaboration for a few years with Free Volley Vittoria. This is an important result for our club which is repaid by the work done in recent years by our technicians and in particular this season by coach Ciccio Italia. We are back after several years of absence to play the national stage and we hope to be capable of representing our territory and our region.”
