After G7 in Capri, Forza Italia gives important tasks to two islanders. The outgoing mayor of Capri Marino Flap who also received compliments from the foreign minister Antonio Tajani due to the way the event took place on the island, he was appointed national deputy manager of the tourism department with responsibility for the south, while Marco Milano will play the role of commissioner of Forza Italia for the island of Capri.
After learning of the appointment, the outgoing mayor Marino Lembo thanked Tajani for his appreciation of him and for the role he received. «Tourism is one of the main assets of the Village – he said Flap – and it must be valorised and systematized, just as this one is doing Government».
Together with the appointment of Marino Lembo as national deputy head of the tourism department with responsibility for the south, Marco Milano was also appointed as Forza Italia commissioner for the island of Capri. A role currently non-existent on the blue island and for which Marco Milano will have the burden of reviving the passion for politics that is gradually being lost in the new generations.
The nomination to the two Capri representatives was made by the party’s regional coordinator, the MEP Fulvio Martuscielloand the provincial coordinator of Naples, the deputy Annarita Patriarca.
