The afternoon probably didn’t go as expected. The Bologna had an impact on a match, the one againstUdinese, which at a certain point really seemed like a “bete noire”, also given the numerical inferiority. But then comes the pearl (in collaboration with Okoye) from Alexis Saelemaekers and the result is 1-1, dividing the stakes.
The real emotion for all the Rossoblù fans arrived in the evening, with the arithmetic “only” taking a couple of hours: after more than twenty years, Bologna will return to play a European competition next season. The loot, however, wants to be the big one, and the mathematics is still waiting, even if the distance becomes increasingly smaller. To lay an important brick we are already looking forward to Friday: the advance of the 35th matchday, in that of the “Grande Torino”, will be Turin-Bologna.
Bologna-Turin, operations at the “Galli” have already resumed
This morning, around that time Casteldebolethe first training session in view of Bologna-Turin took place. Thiago Motta and his staff, after yesterday’s efforts, divided today’s training into two groups and into two phases: after the classic muscle warm-up, yesterday’s starters carried out an unloading session, between the gym and the pitch; the rest of the group carried out a series of athletic exercises on the field and concluded the session with the usual practice match. The team group is practically complete for the Italian-Brazilian coach, who has positive news coming from the infirmary.
The point from the infirmary and tomorrow’s appointment
As mentioned, very positive news arrives for Thiago Motta: Adama Soumaoro this morning he carried out part of the training session with different exercises compared to his teammates, and then joined the group at a later time. This is a good sign, both for the player and for the coach: Soumaoro is pushing to find a call-up as soon as possible, if not for Turin, the target is Napoli. Differentiated training also for Jens Odgaard: the return of the group, also for the attacker, will be evaluated day by day.
Tomorrow will be another morning of training at the “Galli”: the usual morning session is scheduled, again at 11 and always behind closed doors.
