ANCONA – InCanto on the streets of Francesco arrives at Ancona Sunday 5 May next, together with the events organized for the feast of San Ciriaco: the initiative will start from San Francesco quay at 3pm and will end at 7pm Falcinelli barracksmilitary command of the Marche army ed former convent of San Francesco ad Alto. We will continue around at 4pm with the stage of Santa Maria della Piazzawith the Misericordia choir of Ancona, then we will climb the Guasco hill to reach the cathedral of San CiriacoWhere at 5pm approximately the cathedral’s Musical Chapel will perform. The fourth stop will be at the church of San Francesco alle Scale at 6pm, another site of great historical and cultural importance, where the Cristo Re choir of Numana will perform. The participants will then go up towards Capodimonte to reach the Marche army military command, Falcinelli barracks, former convent of San Francesco ad Altofor a finale in grand style expected around 7pm which will begin with the performance of the Brunella Maggiori choir from Jesi and continue with the screening of the film Light of Peace by Marco Federici and Paolo Petrucci, produced by the association Franciscan Charitable Works directed by Danilo Mastrogiacomo.
On this occasion the Franciscan Charitable Works will donate to the military command the copies of the paintings which originally decorated the former church of San Francesco ad Alto, two by Crivelli and one, the Gozzi altarpiece, by Titian.
