With a second half played with attention, discipline and coolness in Benevento they managed to overturn a match that in the first half had been largely in favor of Messina who had scored three tries in the 27th minute, 36th minute and 40th minute.
After the goal in the 13th minute, Benevento had lost the key to the game and the initiative had passed into the hands of the Sicilians who took advantage of ten free kicks and were permanently stationed in the opponent’s half of the field, putting the Samnite defense under strong pressure.
