Readings and games of the past at the Dragoni park

The European Day of Solidarity between Generations is next May 3rd and, for the occasion, the traditional ‘Intergenerational Party’ organized by Rete Amica, the network of third sector organizations that deal with the well-being of elderly people, returns, with the contribution from the Carisp Foundation and the Municipality’s Elderly Unit. This year’s party will have the title ‘The sky belongs to everyone’, taken from a famous poem by Gianni Rodari. The day will be dedicated to the writer, teacher and pedagogist, on the occasion of the fiftieth anniversary of Rodari’s presence in Forlì, where he took part in a memorable seminar on education. But here’s how the day will unfold: from 3pm to 6.30pm in the green area of ​​via Dragoni there are games from the past, Pompieropoli, readings and stories of the Romagna tradition, outdoor sports and movement, art, workshops and manual skills. Furthermore, the nursery and primary schools of IC2 will bring works carried out on Rodari’s texts. Among the common threads of the day there will also be importance

of the movement, with the novelty of a walk/parade that will follow the route of the park, starting at 4.15pm. In case of bad weather the event will be cancelled.
