Protests to Turin against the G7 Climate Energy and Environment. A procession made up of a thousand people, including environmental groups And No TAVmarched to demonstrate against the event on the agenda in the Piedmontese capital on Monday 29th and Tuesday 30th April, in the setting of the palace of Royal Venaria. Some of the participants have burned posters with the faces of the heads of government of the 7 countries, including that of the Italian prime minister Giorgia Meloni.

The goal of G7 Climate Energy and Environment of Turin which brings together Italy, France, Germany, the United Kingdom, Japan, Canada and the United States is to “identify coherent, complementary and interconnected actions to address the climate crisis, energy and environmental issues in progresswith particular attention to areas and the most vulnerable populations“, as declared by the organizers.
The ministerial meeting will take place on Monday 29th and Sunday 30th April, divided into 4 sessions.
The delegations will be hosted in three hotels below strict control by the police towns. Carabinieri, State Police, Financial Police and Local Police will monitor the travel areas.
