| Matera gets a good draw which keeps them in the running for the playoffs. After the 2-2 home draw against Martina, they are in fifth place on equal points with Casarano, who were defeated in Manfredonia. Virgilio’s goal in the 12th minute of the first half gave Martina the lead, followed by a penalty error by Matera with Ferrara in the 39th minute of the first half, blocked by Pirro. The equalizer came in the 28th minute of the second half with another penalty converted by Russo, and the lead was obtained in the 36th minute of the second half by Di Palma, with a deflection from a defender. In injury time, Palermo took advantage of Matera’s defensive ingenuity and equalized at XXI Settembre.
