Rome’s Metro A is at a standstill. A nightmare Monday morning for line users left with the service suspended and replaced by buses in the stretch between Termini and Battistini. The buses, at Termini, in the direction of Battistini will stop and depart from via Giolitti, in the opposite direction to the corner with via Cavour. In Repubblica the stop in the direction of Termini is in via delle Terme di Diocleziano, in the direction of Battistini in piazza della Repubblica.
In Barberini stop in via Veneto/corner of piazza Barberini, in Spagna via Veneto, at via Sardegna, in Flaminio stop in piazzale Flaminio/tram terminus, in Lepanto bus stop in the direction of Battistini, viale delle Milizie on the corner of via Lepanto, while in the direction of Termini in viale delle Milizie, via Lepanto.
Finally in Ottaviano, the buses stop in the direction of Battistini in viale delle Milizie, while towards Termini in via Barletta, in Cipro in via Angelo Emo, in Baldo degli Ubaldi in via Angelo Emo, in Cornelia on the Cornelia ring road and Largo Boccea, and in Battistini in via Battistini.
Work on Metro A
We would like to remind you that, from the beginning of the month, from Sunday to Thursday, due to works, metro line A closes from 9pm and is replaced by buses. The closure will not affect Fridays and Saturdays, when trains will continue to run until 1.30 am.
This will then be followed by a stop at Spagna station from 15 July to 3 October, while Ottaviano will stop from 22 July to 9 September. For complete renovation work on the escalators, the Vittorio Emanuele A metro station will also remain closed until June 30th. Can be used as an alternative to the Manzoni station.
