The dates of the traditional Banderesi Festival have been made official, which returns to enliven Bucchianico this year too. The appointment with the Some of Sant’Urbano is scheduled for Sunday 19th May, while the historical festival will be held from Friday 24th to Sunday 26th.

4pm, via Piana (near the sports field): gathering of the Banderese and the districts
4.15pm: departure of the procession from the sports field car park
5.15pm, monument to the fallen: meeting at the entrance of the town with the Sergeant and the Banderese and delivery of the “raietto”
5.45 pm, churchyard of Sant’Urbano: thanks to Sant’Urbano with prayers and traditional songs
6pm, Piazza San Camillo de Lellis: parade of baskets with paper flowers and floats with the traditional “ciammaichella”
8.30 pm, Piazza San Camillo de Lellis: great show of arms by the “Armsmen and Crossbowmen” of the city of Bucchianico and show by the “Musicians and Flag-wavers of the City of Bucchianico”
