The match between Happy Casa Brindisi and Reyer Venezia took place at the Palapentassuglia in Brindisi, won by the hosts 84-80. Top scorer of the day in the defeat Spissu (23) assisted well by Kabengele (19). Sneed (22) and Bayehe (17) did well as usual for Brindisi.
Having removed the match which in light of the recent results has a relative value, after 12 years of staying in Serie A Brindisi is relegated. A disastrous year from many points of view, starting from the choice of coach Corbani at the beginning of the season and the assembly of a roster with clear gaps, filling some late and some never, considering however the lack of a player to catch his breath Sneed and a real big man, given that Bayehe was the protagonist of an excellent season. The final is a sprint, with all the energy of the hosts seeming to have been sucked away, but with a surge of pride they keep the score and win 84-80
