Yet another accident at work has shattered the life of Salvatore Nicolosi, 45 years old, driver for a Tortona company, born and lived in Vigevano, also known as Moki, because he always wore moccasins.

The accident occurred on April 5th, death after 2 weeks of agony at the San Giovanni Bosco hospital. Burns and internal burns left no escape in Nicolosi hit by a jet of phenol while carrying out a transshipment of the acid on behalf of Seici, a Piedmontese company from Leinì. Once the load was completed he would go to Savona to embark it for Spain.

But everything was interrupted – according to the first reconstructions of the Leinì carabinieri and the Turin ASL, when the malfunctioning of a pipe caused the leak of acid which hit Nicolosi, causing burns, especially on his legs and internal systems.

The death of the truck driver, who lived in Zeme and leaves two children, on 19 April. Then the autopsy and the return of the body to his family, friends and the community he knew well Moki and his passion for music that took him to local clubs to sing and play with his partner.

The duo they founded, Moki and Ramona, were quite well known in Lomellina. The funeral chapel was opened in the Farewell room of the Asm of Vigevano, in via Petrarca. Funeral on Monday.
