EA7 Emporio Armani Milano prevails in the big match against Germani Brescia.
THE MATCH
The news (LBA Press Office Source) – The start of the match was all in the name of the red and whites given that, beyond an acceleration by Della Valle (12 points and 6 assists) and a winning low post by Bilan (20 points, 5 rebounds, 10/12 free throws, 4 assists, 28 rating), Melli (13 points and 8 rebounds), Caruso and Napier (19 points, 10/10 free throws, 6 fouls suffered, 8 assists, 29 rating) they took advantage of their long-range skills to score a first break at 12-4.

An average jumper from Gabriel (12 points and 5 rebounds) inaugurates the second half with the guest overtaking, Caruso and Shields however make themselves felt in the opponent’s paint and Napier from the arc places two consecutive bombs that repel the flashes of Petrucelli and his teammates (51 -46). A triple by Gabriel and a free throw scored by Burnell bring the Brescia team back to -1, Napier and Tonut are however precise from distance in putting two full possessions back between the teams but Bilan in the paint and the snipers Massinburg and Gabriel make the team celebrate Germani, who makes yet another overtaking at 58-59. At the end of the quarter, Hall and Shields return to make themselves heard on both sides of the court and a low post from Burnell keeps Brescia in their wake after 30′ of the match (64-61).
Subsequently, the two defenses level up further, Bilan and Hines exchange blows under the scoreboards and then Shields interrupts the impasse by combining with Melli and sending the +8 bomb to the target, before Bilan also moves the net for Brescia (71 -65 with less than 5′ to go). After another great incursion from Shields, Napier was glacial with the clock stopped, bringing EA7 Emporio Armani ahead by double figures on +11, before a consecutive triple each signed by Petrucelli and Della Valle put Germani back in touch (76 -71 with 3′ left). In the most important moment, however, Melli takes center stage with a triple and a winning tap-in which materialize the excellent red and white defensive sequences and Bilan’s last flashes arrive too late, closing the match at 83-77.
