Isweb Avezzano wins the victory over Livorno in a packed “Trombetta” and wins the right to participate in the new A1 series two days early, by virtue of third place in group 3.
Isweb Avezzano Rugby fulfills its dream of joining the elite of Italian rugby and can celebrate promotion to Serie A1 a day early. Within the friendly walls of the “A.Trombetta” stadium, in front of more than a thousand spectators, the Abruzzo club achieves its seventh consecutive victory in the championship and confirms third place in the tournament, eleven points behind Livorno who, fourth, can no longer reach it. A triumphal ride, that of Mister’s boys Vincenzo Troianiwho, driven by the home crowd, overcame the last obstacle to reach the goal that the club had set itself at the beginning of the season. Two yellow and black goals in the first half they allow the Abruzzo team to close on 14-3. Of Pais the first marking while the second, of Retaliated, has reached the end of a drive. Both were transformed by Natalia, precisely at her foot. A good result for the yellow and black team led by Alessandro Seritti. The crowd was truly the sixteenth man on the pitch who encouraged the players from the first to the last minute. In the second half the hosts stoically resisted the attacks of Livorno who attempted to get back into the game with a try. Nothing to be done, however, and after the third half of Rettagliata the inertia passed totally into the hands of the yellow and blacks who only had to wait for the final whistle to celebrate. The dream is now reality: Isweb Avezzano Rugby is among the eighteen best Italian teams.
