Ischia beat Ostiamare 2-0 at the “Mazzella” stadium in a truly spectacular crowd in the last home match of the regular season. The gialloblù beat the Roman team by a goal in each half and consolidate second place in the standings. In the 3rd minute there was a tough clash in midfield between Florio and Simonelli, the island’s number 11 remained on the ground due to an ankle problem and after a short while he was forced to raise the white flag and leave early, Maiorano came in in his place with Ischia who he redesigned his tactical board and Montanino moved to full-back. In the 9th minute Talamo following a corner for Ostiamare remains on the ground in the penalty area due to a head-to-head clash with an opponent, moments of apprehension in the stands and on the pitch for the yellow and blue attacker. In the 48th minute, Pastore, in an attempt to anticipate his opponent in the penalty area, commits a foul with the referee who awards the penalty. Mercagli goes from eleven meters and hits the crossbar squarely. The match ends with a score of 2-0.
