Angelica Folino, Giulia Marcello, Alessia Rocca, Caterina Raso, Francesca Cortese, Miriam Molinaro, Lucia Lepore, Sara Fragale, Lara Feroleto, Ludovica Franzè, Angela Molinaro, Maria Stella De Fazio, gold at the Berlin 2023 world championships, competed in the hoop, ball and ribbon, accompanied by the technicians Alessia Cerra, Chiara Gatto and the staff Benedetta Cortese and Maria Chiara La Chimea, Francesca Del Gaiso.
The gymnasts of Lucky Friends Lamezia rejoiced again and distinguished themselves again at the “Trofeo Antonello Di Cerbo” as well as at the “XV Trofeo Zita Peratti” Genoa, with victories in 2019 and 2023.
The event, the Special Olympics Trophy, included an event of women’s and men’s artistic gymnastics, as well as rhythmic gymnastics according to the Special Olympics Italy program.
The event saw the participation of numerous athletes, with and without intellectual disabilities, coming from all over Italy and also from Switzerland.
