Cremona Sera – Let’s take back the city, we are partisans every day
Descriptive text here

The editorial that I look forward to every Sunday particularly shook me today; that “Partisans today and memory gaps” is a source of reflections that I would like to share.

We are experiencing a colorless electoral campaign, in the name of political correctness, even the beautiful procession of April 25th which we witnessed and participated in risks being archived as the traditional Liberation Day procession.

But no, we can’t afford it if we have the courage to look a little beyond our noses.

“I hate the indifferent. Living means participating” Gramsci said, a statement that never loses its strength and today more than ever should we start from there.

Today we cannot back down, the war scenarios, but also the national one with the premiership and the differentiated autonomy that are advancing, finally at the local level, require us to raise our voices.

Raise your voice as the Prosus workers did in the demonstration on April 25th, they don’t want to become invisible, they scream in the ears of the indifferent their desire to live and participate.

Dr. Cavalli raises his voice, having been ringing the bell for some time to draw attention to the problems that in this election campaign are practically ignored by the mayoral candidates of the two main parties.

I want to write it in capital letters: TOO MANY ARE DYING FROM CANCERS IN CREMONA!!!!!

The people of Cremona know this, but they don’t know which saint to vote for, politics deals with something else, but we are not all the same…

For the Cremona Cambia Musica list, being partisan and not indifferent is first of all a duty, it is in our DNA.

And so we cannot remain silent to the people of Cremona that the incidence of cancer and pollution are two sides of the same coin. We cannot remain silent to the people of Cremona that the possible construction of the biomethane plant, wanted by A2A with Virgilio’s yes and Portesani’s ni, will worsen this situation, that the incinerator will continue to INCINERATE for another 12 years and that not even the NEW HOSPITAL he will save them.

Let’s stop while we still have time, let’s take back our city, let’s stop worrying and helplessly watch this drift of society increasingly designed inside shopping centers.

We want a city designed by the people of Cremona, where young people can find places and reasons to socialize, where they can plan their future by developing skills and enhancing our specificities.

We think of a child-friendly city with safe green spaces, we want a welcoming city for them that takes them by the hand and makes them become aware and active adults.

We want less lonely elderly people in a city where the need is known and addressed before it becomes a problem.

In short, we want a city where we can live well, breathe, think, plan and contribute to cultural and inclusive growth.

In a word: WE ARE PARTISANS everyday.
