The street Regina State Highwayon Lake Como is closed in both directions between Colonno and Argegno for a tree fell on the road during the night between Saturday and Sunday due to bad weather. The plant hit a passing car. Fortunately, the driver, a 23-year-old, was uninjured. The tree fell around 4.30 am: branches and earth invaded the road. The firefighters, ambulance and Carabinieri of Menaggio intervened. The 23-year-old, despite his fright, did not need to be taken to hospital.
The Regina state road was closed in both directions between Colonno and Argegno and the traffic is diverted, with inevitable repercussions on traffic. The power line was damaged. The fire brigade teams from the Menaggio, Centro Valle Intelvi detachments, the ladder truck from Como and the crane from the Sondrio command are at work, as well as the Enel technicians and the Anas teams. Work continues to clean and make the road safe with the aim of restoring circulation as soon as possible.
