In action this morning the “Paladins of the territory”, volunteers belonging to the Andria section, named after “Riccardo Marchio” of the Italian Hunting Federation.
“An ecological event, like many that we carry out in the area – underlines the president of the association, Riccardo Sgaramella – born from the desire of the hunting world to actively contribute to the preservation and care of green areas and, in general, of the environment. Protagonists here in Andria like other parts of the territory, they are the territories of all the Italian regions where the champions, mostly hunters of the individual areas, intervene together with willing citizens to carry out an organic cleaning work. It was our duty to intervene in a place like this dear to the people of Andria where our Celestial Mother, the co-patron of our beloved Andria, is venerated, together with the forest of Santa Barbara, this place, like others in the city countryside, attacked by uncivilized and debauched people”.
The obligatory thanks went to the team of irreducible volunteers led by Riccardo Sgaramella and, among the irreducible champions such as the brave Salvatore Cannone, Carletto Alicino and Pietro Zagaria, who periodically work in favor of public places.
