The reconstructed copy of the Crown worn by Maria Beatrice d’Este (Mary of Modena), the Modenese princess who became Queen (consort) of England (1685/1689) was presented yesterday to journalists and historians at the Sanctuary of Fiorano ) and the last Catholic on the throne. This is the national presentation of the crown, the other copy (the original was destroyed) is kept in the Tower London in London where the crown jewels are kept. The artefact was handmade by Lucia Vincenzi, a craftsman from Finale, artist, costume designer and creator of headdresses at a national level.
