Eve of the last round of the regular season for Triestina, involved tomorrow at 4.30pm at Euganeo in the Triveneto derby on the Padova pitch. Mister Roberto Bordin presents the challenge like this:
“A match like this is always an important stimulus and it will be both for us and for them, an opportunity to give more energy to the environment. It will be a real match, even if it is the last of the championship with already secure ranking positions. The important thing will be to put in a good performance to better prepare for the playoffs, trying to take back what we left behind in the last match against Novara. The full result would give us a better guarantee for the ranking and with a view to placing as the best fourth, but the main thing will be the performance in this match and as a viaticum towards the playoffs.
I still have some doubts about the starting line-up, I’ll decide tomorrow and then we’ll see what happens. It’s obvious that there are many players within a doubt and we’ll have to be careful, because then the disqualification round would start in the playoffs, we’ll evaluate all these things tonight and then tomorrow we’ll decide the final lineup to send on the pitch. Struna and Malomo’s injuries? They aren’t particularly worrying, the first is close to full recovery but we don’t want to risk him for tomorrow’s race, just like Alessandro who we will soon have back in the group.
