Collecchio, 28 April 2024 – 13th Return Day of the Primavera 2 Championship, on the central natural grass field of the youth sector at “Mutti Training Center” of Collecchio, Saturday 27 April 2024, Parma-Spal ends 2-1 (identical final, with roles reversed, in the first leg played at GB Fabbri).

The success against the Ferrara team allows Mister Cesare Beggi’s team to continue to be the second force in the championship, rising to 52 points in the standings (17 less than leaders Cremonese, who returned to success against SudTirol, 1-0, and now at 69 points ) and to keep Venezia, third with 50, at a safe distance (two points), after the 4-1 victory over Cittadella. Udinese (48) and Albinoleffe (46) did not go beyond a 1-1 draw in the direct clash.

Crociati took the lead in the 3rd minute with Alessandro Cardinali, author of a solitary shot in the area (1-0). As in the first leg, however, Spal managed to remedy the situation: ten minutes later (13′) a decisive free kick: Andrea Carbone’s free kick deflected from the barrier and ended up in the net for a temporary 1-1. The decisive goal, on a penalty kick, in the 22nd minute was by Captain Giacomo Jack Marconi, who from eleven meters surpasses the goalkeeper Luca Romagnoli, who guesses, but doesn’t get there (2-1). The maximum punishment was awarded by the match director, Mr. Abdoulaye Diop of the AIA Treviglio Section for a handball in the area by Daniel Pierre Mayele.
In the second part of the match, Ferrara were dangerous with the substitute Juan Ignacio Casari Bertona and again with Andrea Carbone, but the ducal goalkeeper Manuel Moretta did well to avert the two dangers, maintaining the 2-1 until the end.
