Fabrizio Scarsella, who died prematurely a year ago, was a highly esteemed physical education teacher and a great sportsman who dedicated his talent to football. A fan of L’Aquila 1927, the club with which he played as a player and coach, he was remembered thus by the city’s top football club: «For our colours, Schulz played, trained the youth sector, Caps and the first team (as a substitute in 1994 ). Lastly, he was one of the first to believe with conviction in the rebirth of our youth sector by coaching the Allievi in 2020, before the stop due to Covid.” Schulz was an example of a teacher and sportsman animated by the great human and moral values that inspired his life on the football fields and at school.
