Trieste, minors robbed of jackets, shoes, telephone and money

TRIESTE. Another robbery against minors, this time in the San Giovanni district, near Viale Raffaello Sanzio.

The episode, which around 10.20 on Saturday morning involved two teenagers, first chased and then forcibly deprived of their shoes by three other boys, has many similarities with what happened last April 25th in the garden of via Mascagni, in Valmaura .

The Flying Squad is investigating the two cases and is reconstructing in detail what happened yesterday, also taking into consideration that video cameras are in operation on board the Trieste Trasporti vehicles. According to the story of the two victims, who then raised the alarm with the subsequent intervention on site by the Volanti operators, the action of the robbers – also young – began on board a line 6 bus, headed towards piazzale Gioberti.

During the journey, the three criminals, having evidently identified the victims, began to insult them. At that point, the two teenagers, having reached Il Giulia, got out. But the young robbers, who had already spotted some objects to be forcibly delivered, chased them, reaching them at Viale Sanzio. There, threatening them, they obtained a jacket, a pair of sneakers, a mobile phone, a pair of AirPods headphones and 40 euros, then fled. Frightened, the two minors who were robbed alerted their parents and asked for police intervention. No one in the area came to their aid. As we were saying, the modus operandi of the young robbers is similar to that reported by the boy victim of the episode in Via Magnagni. On that occasion, a small group of minors had threatened and robbed the teenager using pepper spray, ordering him to hand over his wallet with 50 euros inside and his jacket.
