FULIGNATI: Very good in both the first and second half, preventing at least four of Pisa’s chances RATING 6.5
SITUM: Committed to holding the position because the opponent widens him and attacks him frequently. He juggles with experience but doesn’t have an impact. He gets a yellow card and comes out at the end of the first half RATING 6
SCOGNAMILLO: Some incorrect passes in the first half that could have cost the goal. He is deployed on the outside in place of Veroli and tries to push but fails. Better when he is squeezed in the middle when he recovers some balls effectively RATING 6
BRIGENTS: Still far from his standard, he immediately runs into trouble because the Tuscan attackers are fast and get past him on a one-two. Even in positioning he is not entirely in tune with Antonini. He leaves the field with physical problems RATING 5.5
ANTONINI: He plays a painful match because he cannot find references and is often forced to rely on his physicality to stop his opponents. The midfield does not provide an adequate screen and the central pair is under a lot of pressure. However, sufficient performance RATING 6
SOUNAS: He touches very few balls, is little involved in managing the ball but because Catanzaro suffers a lot from Pisa’s initiative. His characteristics slowly disappear from the pitch as the Tuscans’ intensity increases RATING 5.5
VANDEPUTTE: One of the best. He runs a lot, provides the assist for Pontisso and then for Ambrosino. He is always clear in his plays and dangerous in his few offensive actions RATING 7
PETRICCONE: A very careful race, without errors, certainly more than enough. He is attacked from all sides but he always finds the right solution. He remained on the pitch for the whole match, giving in slightly at distance but without any particular difficulty RATING 6.5
PONTISSO: Score a great goal and break the deadlock. Then in the middle of the pitch he is forced to chase his opponents who are playing at a great pace. He succeeds in flashes, because sometimes he gets into trouble and is replaced RATING 6
BIASCI: He doesn’t do much but it’s because Catanzaro doesn’t recover the ball much and plays it inconsistently. He is not involved and the plots are without continuity. Biasci doesn’t find the opportunity even though he tries very hard RATING 5.5
AMBROSINO: Together with Vandeputte one of the best. He runs and proposes himself, takes hits in tackles and gets up without saying a word. He scores a goal and comes away exhausted but his performance is improving and is excellent RATING 7

POMPETTI: He too is in difficulty due to Pisa’s great intensity WITHOUT VOTE
OLIVERI: Where he comes from, Pisa brings many dangers but he manages RATING 6

MISTER VIVARINI: The team has many absences and arrives in Pisa perhaps with some physical problems that prevent them from keeping up. Situm gets a yellow card in the first half and comes out, there aren’t many alternatives on the bench. Catanzaro still manages to go two points ahead despite Pisa not allowing them to keep the ball. But in the end the intensity and pace of the Tuscans got the better of the game and above all the opportunities. The midfield maintains a lot of quality but in the interdiction phase it doesn’t get very close to the carriers, doesn’t cut the passing lines and doesn’t recover the ball. Cremonese played one on one and the Petriccione-Pontisso duo had references in the duel, making a great impression and ending up being the best couple on the pitch. Pisa, on the other hand, gives no references and our two very good midfielders (and Sounas himself) have difficulty in the tackling phase and winning back the ball despite maintaining clarity in their dribbling. Pisa deservedly equalized and confirmed themselves as the best team in terms of the game that put Catanzaro in difficulty. The point is earned for what was available RATING 6
