“There are no longer the fascists of the past”: Riondino posts the photo of La Russa upside down. Center-right in defense of the president of the Senate

Reversedupside down, and accompanied by a post that reads like this: “There are no more i fascists once upon a time. Only sheep.” She published it on the occasion of Liberation Day the director and actor from Taranto Michele Riondinowho is also the artistic director of the Free and Thinking May Day concert in Taranto: “Here – he writes – are what yesterday’s fascists are who have become the rulers of today. Better a life from sheep what a great day. Long live the resistance.” Riondino, recently applauded by critics for his first work as a director Laf buildingadds: “The really funny thing is that there was a time when there were more fascists authenticmore bold, they were lions, even if only for a day. They claimed theirs identity without fear of being accused of being traitors and murderers of the country.”

The solidarity and indignation of the center-right was immediate. Starting from Fdi, whose representatives one after the other intervened to condemn the actor/director and in defense of the president of the Senate. From Lucio Malan who speaks of “shameful words” a Thomas Foti who accuses Riondino of throwing “petrol that fuels vulgar hatred”. And then for Forza Italia Gasparri And Schifani. And again the President of the Chamber Lorenzo Fontana: “I address the President of the Senate, Ignazio La Russa, the expressions of my deepest solidarity for the photo published on Facebook which portrays him upside down. I strongly condemn this initiative which is harmful to the institutions.” Condemnation for the words also from ministers Lollobrigida and Sangiulian: “I express sincere and strong solidarity with the President of the Senate, Ignazio La Russa, to whom unworthy words have been addressed by those who demonstrate that they are not up to the level of civil life of our Nation,” said the Minister of Culture. The most controversial words, however, come from Giovanni Donzelli. For the organization manager of Fdi, those of Riondino are words that stain the entire center-left: “Once again the champions of the left feel entitled to give licenses of democracy with vulgar and violent methods. And once again they demonstrate that they are the real anti-democratic ones. Riondino’s is a post that speaks for itself: solidarity with the President of the Senate, Ignazio La Russa. These gentlemen must come to terms with it: democracy also foresees that elections can be lost. Will they ever accept it?”.
