MONTESILVANO – “The League has always respected and listened to the other parties in the coalition, showing great fairness, even when it was at 30 percent. Now is the time for allies to have equal respect for the League. The League has no intention of being a land to be colonized. If the centre-right parties have to propose programs or candidates, they should do so in their own names. We have never failed to discuss. However, we absolutely cannot accept that men who, for some time, have no longer been from the League and who do not work for the League are indicated in the League quota. Otherwise, a very dangerous precedent would be opened which could undermine the criteria for identifying mayoral candidates in the 2025 local elections.”

Thus the party leader in the Abruzzo Region, reconfirmed in the Abruzzo regional elections last March, Vincenzo D’Inceccoon the next administrative elections of Montesilvano (Pescara).

D’Incecco, therefore, asks for the League’s respect and right to choose and explains, without naming names, that the League dumped De Martinis to choose Aliano, at the same time warning Fratelli d’Italia not to decide on behalf of his party.

“Those in the League – he underlines – must demonstrate it with facts. Double dealings are not tolerated. We reiterate to the centre-right parties that we are for coalition unity and for the candidacy of the best figures, characterized by coherence and loyalty”.
