Prof-influencer Vincenzo Schettini opens Food Expo Versilia

VIAREGGIO – Ribbon cutting for the fair dedicated to food and wine products from the Versilia area scheduled until Monday 29 April at the Principino in Viareggio. Guest of the opening was the professor and TV and social media star Vincenzo Schettini.

From 26 to 29 April Viareggio comes alive with taste and tradition thanks to the event organized by Slow Food, dedicated to the culture of food and hosted in the Principino-Eventi premises.

An initiative which over 4 days aims to enhance the territory, from the natural wonders of the Migliarino Park to the imposing Apuan Alps, promoting and giving visibility to the excellence of local productions, connecting them with the hospitality professionals of Versilia and with the population who will be able to get to know local producers and therefore purchase quality zero-mile products directly from the company.

The event, aimed at both the public and sector operators, aims to stimulate a high quality food and wine experience. Through tastings, workshops and meetings with local producers, the visitor is offered the opportunity to immerse themselves in the culinary traditions of the area, discovering the authentic and genuine flavors that characterize this land of Versilia.

Guest Star of this second edition of Food Expo Versilia is Italy’s most famous physics professor, Vincenzo Schettini, who reiterates how food is science, physics and chemistry.
