CASERTA – Three thousand members, 52 sections and 13 area offices. These are the numbers of Coldiretti Caserta, the widespread farmers’ federation which will celebrate its provincial assembly at 10 am on Tuesday 30 April in the location of the Plaza hotel in Via Lamberti, in Caserta. A great moment of unity for the federation led by president Enrico Amico who will greet the hundreds of members who will be present at the assembly.
Tuesday’s event will also be the moment in which the national organization celebrates the eightieth birthday of the birth of Coldiretti, founded by Paolo Bonomi in 1944. Eighty years in defense of farmers, as demonstrated by the recent Parmalat/Lactalis affair which in Caserta saw its genesis, up to the maxi fine for unfair practices issued by the Inspectorate of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Sovereignty, after the company violated legislative decree n.198 of 8 November 2021, strongly wanted by Coldiretti to protect farmers and livestock in the supply chain.
Eighty years of representation and assistance to farmers that the Caserta federation wants to continue to carry forward: “We celebrate the first 80 years of Coldiretti, telling what we have done and, above all, the objectives of the association in Italy and on European tables”, said the president Enrico Amico of Coldiretti Caserta.
Great anticipation for next Tuesday’s event, with hundreds of people already signing up and several buses ready to depart from the various areas of the province.
