Sixth place should have been, sixth place it was. Netafim Bogliasco 1951 closes the regular season of the women’s Serie A1 confirming the same placing as last season. Against a Cosenza team that arrived at Vassallo in search of safety points, Mario Sinatra’s girls suffered for two halves but then took off and won the challenge with a large and deserved 16-8 which allowed them to reach the play outs with the arrow of morale pointed upwards.
The first part of the race, as mentioned, is characterized by balance but sees the Ligurians always leading the dance without ever managing to take off. The Calabrians, who started with the initial advantage, managed to always keep their breath down the necks of Millo and her teammates, as evidenced by the 9-8 in favor of the white and blues with whom they reached the changeover. After the long interval, however, the music changes markedly. Bogliasco locks down his goal, so much so that Valeria Uccella will no longer have to collect balls behind him. The attack, however, kept its scoring percentage almost unchanged, scoring another seven goals. In the end Cutler will have made four, Di Maria three, Millo and Santoro two, Nesti, Spampinato and Paganello one each.

Now let’s put this match aside and immediately set ourselves on the playout objective, an important match in which we must bring out all our true value.”
The appointment is with game one of the playout semi-finals, scheduled for next Saturday, again in Bogliasco, against Locatelli.
