FABRIANO – Change at the top of the Guardia di Finanza in Fabriano. Captain Martino Marzocca he will be the new Commander, replacing the Second Lieutenant Gennaro Pietroluongo who is preparing to leave active service in the Corps. The outgoing officer, in the three-year period of command in the city of Fabriano, directed, among other things, numerous and complex investigations, coordinated by the Public Prosecutor’s Office of Ancona, in the sector of tax evasion, tax and extra-tax fraud in culmination of 39 years of honorable service in the Corps. The new Commander, thirty years old, originally from Bari, attended the Corps Academy from 2013 to 2018, has a degree in Economic and Financial Security Sciences, in Law and obtained a second level Master’s degree in Tax Law and business consultancy; he has already served in Campania and, as an Instructor Officer, at the School of Inspectors and Superintendents of the Guardia di Finanza in L’Aquila. The Tenenza of Fabriano carries out operational economic-financial police activities against industrial and commercial companies, as well as self-employed workers, who not only live in Fabriano but also in the municipalities of Arcevia, Cerreto d’Esi, Genga, Sassoferrato and Serra San Quirico.
The handover
During the handover ceremony held at the Department, the Provincial Commander of Ancona, Gen. B. Carlo Vita, expressed fervent thanks to Second Lieutenant Pietroluongo for the service provided and the results achieved; Captain Marzocca received his best wishes for his new role, which he will carry out jointly with that of Commander of the Falconara Marittima Company, as well as the hope of achieving new and equally brilliant goals.
