ALEXANDRIA – TheAlexala shareholders meeting to form the new Board of Directors of the local tourist agency of the province of Alessandria. The renewal of the board of directors, however, appears “not very consistent with the team plan” at the Leader of the Democratic Party in the City Council of Alessandria, Rita Rossa. For the renewal, Rita Rossa writes, there was noconsultation” with the Municipality of Alessandria and the risk is that “cracks” the project which aims to make the entire provincial territory increasingly competitive on the tourism front. Hence Rita Rossa’s proposal to the Alessandria members postpone the meeting”and reconnect the threads of a necessary and profitable discussion for all of us.”

“THE comforting results on tourism trends, in the province of Alessandria, they tell us that we are in line with the national average but there is still a lot of work to do. A hard work and passion in which it also plays an important role in the capital city. This result is the result of years of work by institutions, politicians, associations and, above all, operators.
Alexala is a strategic promotion body, a place of consultation and synthesis of the territory, fundamental for the cohesion and valorisation policies of our territories. Ours is a polycentric province, rich in history, popular traditions, culture and food and wine excellence, a rich province because it is crossed by different stories that have left interesting traces and, in some ways, still to be brought to a system.
The administrations and those in the Region who have brought forward the requests of our communities over the years have moved along this line.
The The capital has returned to investing in Alexala also as a function of synthetic governance between the various area centres. The relaunch initiatives of Alessandria are all planned according to a vision that accentuates the characteristics of institutional contiguity between territories. At the variety of offer is accompanied by a new political vision of conurbation and sharing of choices between territories, which over the years have had isolation and few advantages from mutual opposition.
This is why it appears the lack of consultation for the renewal of Alexala’s board of directors with the Municipality of Alessandria is not very consistent with the plan of “teaming up” as a province.
