PALERMO- Forza Italia Italia presents the list of candidates in Palermo to the European elections scheduled for 8 and 9 June.
The names on the list
Opening the list is Caterina Chinnici. Together with the outgoing parliamentarian (she was elected with the Democratic Party) I am there Bernadette Grassoregional deputy and mayor of Capri Leone; Margherita La Rocca Ruvoloregional deputy and mayor of Montevago; Marco Falconeregional councilor for the economy ed Edy Tamajoregional councilor for Productive Activities.
The sixth Sicilian candidate is Massimo Dell’Utri, lawyer from Caltanissetta, an expression of Noi Moderati, not present today in Palermo because he is involved in the electoral campaign in Sardinia. Two other candidatures (of the eight on the list) are expressed by the Forzists of Sardinia.
“Moderate area reference”
“Forza Italia is the reference party of the moderate area, liberal and Atlanticist led by the secretary Antonio Tajani – said the regional coordinator Marcello Caruso -. We are the center of the center in the Italian political landscape. We are the point of reference for many formations such as the Mpa and Noi Moderati”.
“We have six authoritative candidates – he added -. Let’s deliver a qualified team to the voters and we will be able to represent in Europe the requests that come from our territory which sees Renato Schifani as President of the Region (who was not present ed.)”.
“Only region without Tajani as leader”
The meeting took place in a hotel in Palermo. Caruso underlined that “Sicily is the only constituency in which the secretary Antonio Tajani did not run as head of the lista member already present in Europe who brings with her an important memory has been valorised”.
