Bikeup returns to the center of Bergamo for an increasingly sustainable future

Bergamo. A city that moves in an increasingly direction green and which favors the development of increasingly sustainable mobility. From the 12 to the April 14 the streets of the center of Bergamo hosted the festival Bikeupone of the most important festivals on the national scene regarding the world of assisted bicycles.

A festival that has reached its conclusion this year tenth edition and whose presence in Bergamo, as underlined by one of the organizers Stefano Forbici, one of the organizers of this festival, testifies to how the Bergamo area is very active in the world of assisted cycling. “In 2024 we confirmed last year’s numbers – comments Forbici -. Opening the doors to electric mobility is absolutely fundamental: 2024 represents the year of the restart. The objective of the festival is also to create relationships between producers, press and citizens”,

“I think people would be amazed by the interest and desire people have to try bicycles,” he says Massimiliano Monesiorganizer of the festival – The Bergamo valleys are clear proof of this: the places on our bike tours have been sold out for days, both those on trail routes and in urban scenarios”.

The festival has been taking place in Bergamo since 2019 but the first edition was organized in Lecco In the 2014. The event’s arrival at its tenth edition testifies to its growth over time and its innate ability to attract producers and visitors. In addition to Forbici and Monesi, the organizers also include Andrea Daelli.

The councilor also wanted to remember how the festival was hosted this year in the new setting Piacenza centre.
